Gulf Harbour

Situated towards the end of the Peninsula on the southern side of Army Bay, Gulf Harbour is home to one of New Zealand’s largest marinas as well as one of the country’s top golf courses, Gulf Harbour Country Club. A ferry service operates between the marina and Auckland’s CBD, a popular choice for commuters.

Gulf Harbour Primary, as well as the private schools, Wentworth Primary & College, attract families to the area whilst the boating and golfing attract retirees and holidaymakers and with a mixture of apartments, townhouses, residential and waterfront properties, there is a home to suit everyone.

Gulf Harbour currently has 2750 addresses however there is still lots of development with new houses being built in this suburb. Over the year ending 31 December 2020, there were 189 sales, making up approximately 12% of the total sales on the Hibiscus Coast. The median sale price was $835,000, considerably lower than the median sale price for the Hibiscus Coast which was $950,000. Sale prices over this period ranged from $258,000 to $3,100,000. The year-on-year median price was up 8% compared to 1 year ago; up 6% compared to 3 years ago; and was up 25% compared to 5 years ago. The average days to sell was 40 days, only very slightly longer than the average of 39 days for the Hibiscus Coast.
