I hope everyone survived the horrible weather this week.  I went out at midnight to check that our chickens and coop hadn’t blown away – it hadn’t!  Our vege garden had a wee shake up with our broccoli looking like it was growing sideways and our rhubarb looked like a tornado had been through it.  A lucky break compared to what other people had to endure… Someone told me that we saw the strongest winds since 1975!!

Have you heard of Neighbourly yet??  Neighbourly allows you to stay connected with your neighbours and community using a private neighbourhood website. EGGS! The kids are trying to think of ways to get our chickens to lay more eggs to keep up with demand… they haven’t quite grasped the concept that it takes 25 hours for just one egg to develop!  If you are wanting some free range eggs, please contact me to get your name on the “EGG LIST”.
